Studio Policies 2009-10
- Group Classes with 3 or less students will be shortened or canceled.
- All information is posted on the website or can be obtained at the studio. We email monthly newsletters, so please make sure we have your current email address.
- The annual dance recitals will be held in June 2011 at Webster Thomas High School. (Exact recital & rehearsal times TBA)
- There will be no scheduled make-up classes for class closings due to inclement weather and scheduled holiday vacations.
- When Rush-Henrietta schools or afterschool/evening activities or the Henrietta Recreation programs are cancelled due to POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS, the dance studio will also be CLOSED. For Saturday students, please call the studio a half hour before your class or check the Town of Henrietta Recreation website. If they cancel their activities, we will also. We will not notify you by phone, so please call the dance studio and a message will be on voicemail if we cancel.
- The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items
- The studio is not responsible for any injuries incurred on the premises.
- The studio is not responsible for students when their classes are finished.
- Students should arrive on time to class. Students who are 15 minutes late or more will sit out. If students are chronically tardy, they may be dismissed from the class.
- No disrespect will be tolerated from the students to other students or their teachers.
- Attendance is important for all classes. When a child is frequently absent, he/she misses out on the new steps and might not be prepared to move on to the next level. (If your child should miss for any reason, please call. Students with perfect attendance will receive a ribbon at the end of the year. Please consult the schedule for make-up classes if your child has missed. Make-up classes must be done within a month of the absence.
- There are no refunds.
- There are no refunds for fundraiser credit. They may only be applied to your dance account, even if your child discontinues lessons.
- Students who drop out of our programs after costumes have been ordered must pay the full costume balance.
- FULL payment is required for each month, even if your child misses a class.
- Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of each month.
- Bills will be emailed or mailed out ONLY if tuition is past due.
- A $5 late fee will be charged for payments received after the 7th of the month.
- A $10 late fee will be charged for late payments past 30 days.
- Bounced checks will incur a $20 fee.
- Recital costumes will be available for distribution only if paid in full and tuition is paid up to date.
- Tuition or any other fees not paid by June 1st, 2011 will result in NO RECITAL PARTICIPATION.
- Any outstanding balance not paid by the end of the dance year will result in legal action by collection agency.
